The All Complete Character Collection c.1984

Rabbitland was formed inside the brilliant but fevered minds of Joe and Jacob Lonsdale sometime around 1981 - 1983.

It was initially formed after an unidentified comic strip in a UK comic annual where a group of robbers had buried their stolen money in the wild and only for it to be eaten by some local rabbits who exclaimed "mmm, green stuff, looks like lettuce!". For some reason this unlikely scenario and the weirdly explicit exposition from the talking rabbits captured our imagination and Frank and Sperm (don't ask) - the first rabbits of Rabbitland - were born.

This collection of drawings and historical data was an attempt, I think, to preserve the rich culture of Rabbitland before we grew out of it. If we had only known that growing up was something that only happened to other people...
